Description

Mordecai Cubitt Cooke (1825-1914) wrote and illustrated natural history books and journals. Cooke sold his popular magazine 'Science Gosip' in order to produce the more scientific publication 'Grevillea'. He also wrote the popular, early account of psychopharmacology the 'Seven Sisters of Sleep' in 1860.
