The astronaut, either Woody Spring or Jerry Ros, is shown during Extra Vehicular Activity (EVA) in the cargo bay of Atlantis. He is working on EASE (Experimental Asembly of Structures in Extravehicular Activity). This is one of the experiments that studied space construction techniques in preparation for the building of the international space station at the beginning of the next century. Space Shuttle Mision 61-B was launched on 26th November 1985 and was the second flight of Atlantis.
