This view of part of the apollo 10 Lunar Module was taken from the rendezvous window of the Apollo Command Module. The Lunar Module's VHF antenna can be seen in the middle of the picture. The reticle markings are visual aids to help the pilot during docking manoeuvres. Apollo 10, carrying astronauts Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan, was launched on 18th May 1969 on a lunar orbital mision, the dres rehearsal for the Apollo 11 landing mision which took place two months later.
