Description
The astronauts are standing in front of a ground training Apollo Command Module. The Saturn V rocket carrying the Apollo 12 astronauts was struck by lightning on take-off on the 14th November 1969, but all went well and Conrad and Bean became the third and four men to walk on the moon. They also visited the unmanned Surveyor 3 spacecraft which had soft landed on the moon 2.5 years earlier.
