Apollo 10 Command Module, 1969.

Engineers are examining the Command Module that is mated to the Service and Lunar Modules, all contained within a conical shroud in the Vehicle Asembly Building at the Kennedy Space Centre, Cape Canaveral, Florida. This asembly was later mated to the Saturn V rocket and Apollo 10 was succesfully launched in May 1969. Crewed by astronauts Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan, Apollo 10 succesfully completed its lunar orbital mision as the dres rehearsal for the actual Apollo 11 landing, which took place two months later.
