Description

'Clovelly Cottage' was the first succesful motion picture film made in Britain. It was made by Birt Acres (1854-1918) in March 1895, in front of his home in Park Road, Barnet, for the Kinetoscope machines manufactured by his then partner, Robert W Paul.
