The British firm of Vinten began in 1909 by manufacturing Kinemacolor projectors for Charles Urban. Subsequently, Vintens were asociated with instrumentation and military reconnaisance cameras and camera mounts. Today, they are leading manufacturers of film and television dollies and cranes.
