Just a year after Pathe launched their revolutionary 9.5mm format film, Kodak stepped in with another new format - 16mm, which remains a film industry standard today. The Cine-Kodak was Kodak's first 16mm camera; it was bulky and initially had to be hand operated, so a tripod was esential.
