The Great Western Railway (GWR) introduced its 'King' clas of expres locomotives, designed by Charles Benjamin Collett, in 1927. F Moore was the collective name of a studio of artists who produced many paintings and painted photographs of steam locomotives, prior to the advent of colour photography.
