Description
Thiersch's skin grafting razor made by Chas F Thackray Ltd of Leeds, West Yorkshire. Carl Thiersch (1822-1895) was a pioneer in free skin grafting. Skin grafting is the surgical technique of repairing injured skin by placing pieces of skin taken from elsewhere on the patient's body over the damaged area. It is often used to treat burns victims.
