Reconstruction in the Wellcome Building, 183 Euston Road, London. The furnishings, fittings and most of the woodwork are genuine. In 1928 Sir Henry Wellcome (1853-1936) purchased the whole of the woodwork and the contents of the Pontes Pharmacy in Granada, Spain on which the reconstruction is based. The shop was said to have been used continuously as a pharmacy since 1492.
