Description

Oil painting by Marjorie Sherlock (1897-1973) of the busy concourse and platforms at Liverpool Street Station, built as the London terminus of the Great Eastern Railway (GER), and completed in 1874. The station's roof was designed by the GER's chief engineer, Edward Wilson.
