Painted photograph by F Moore, showing two Eastern Counties Railway 2-2-2 locomotives standing outside Stratford Roundhouse in East London. A railwayman is seen standing beside a signal in the foreground. F Moore was the collective name of a studio of artists operating in the first two decades of the 20th century. They produced many paintings and painted photographs of steam locomotives, prior to the advent of colour photography.
