Original oil painting by Norman Wilkinson (1878-1971) for a poster produced for the London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS). The painting shows the s 'Hibernia', Kingstown, steamer ship leaving Holyhead Harbour on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. Norman Wilkinson was known for his marine artwork and designed posters for the London & North Western Railway, LMS and Southern Railway.
