Samples of Netlon, including netting for protecting fruit and vegetables from birds, protective sleeving, insect screens and civil engineering meshes. Netlon is the trade name for an extruded plastic netting made from chemically-resistant polyethylene. Familiar as a material for mesh bags, plastic netting is also used by engineers wishing to consolidate earth or rocks, and on ski slopes.
