Model (scale 1:48). This paddle steamer and her two sister ships, the 'Ulster' and 'Munster', were built of iron for the mail service between Holyhead, in Wales, and Kingstown, Ireland, for the City of Dublin Steam Packet Co. Another similar vesel, the 'Leinster' (Inv 1893-0249), was built at the same time. The 'Connaught' remained in service until 1897, and was broken up in 1898.
