Unrigged model. This ship was built according to the 1706 Establishment. An Admiralty order of 1703 severely restricted the profuse carved and gilded work. It remained effective for only a brief period. The Chinese influence in the decoration on this vesel can be seen in the painting on the counters, the beakhead bulkheads, the gun-port lids and the lion figurehead. This Second-Rate had a burden of 1551 tons and the length of the gun deck was 162 ft.
