Description

Painting of the radio operator's room on a ship in rough weather, with the operator busy transmitting a mesage in morse code. The inquiries held on both sides of the Atlantic into the disaster which befell the Titanic in 1912, stipulated the requirement for a 24 hour watch to be maintained by wireles operators on all ships while at sea.
