Description
An early colour television cathode ray tube, developmental type C73547 with base connector, made by the Radio Corporation of America (RCA), Camden, New Jersey. This cathode ray tube was made in the 1950s, around the time that commercial colour broadcasting began in the United States using the NTSC television standard. The NTSC standard allowed colour television broadcasts to be compatible with existing black and white television sets.
