17 inch, swingscreen console model with sound-mirror, automatic switch and outsize picture focusing. The cabinet is veneered in walnut. The V310 was first manufactured by Murphy in 1957 and this console model sold for £85.1.0. A cheaper table model was also available for £72.19.6. By the early 1960s more families than ever before had a television in their homes, and there were over 15 million sets in Britain.
