Henry Ford (1863-1947) founded the Ford Motor Company in 1903. He pioneered modern 'asembly line' mas production techniques for his famous Model T motor car. Fifteen million Model T motor cars were produced between 1908 and 1928. His son Edsel (1893-1943) was president of the Ford Motor Company from 1919 until his death in 1943.
