'Barbara Young, of North Kensington, and Nigel Davies, of Edmonton, both aged 17, demonstrate a few poses from the rock 'n' roll repertoire. This is the sort of dancing that rhythm-crazed youngsters do in the aisles of cinemas showing the film 'Rock Around the Clock'. Bill Haley, the six-foot American guitar player whose band gives the film its riotous beat, is worried about the news that a number of British cities have banned the film for fear of riots. "Hope it doesn't mean I'll be banned", he told a Daily Herald reporter'.
