This domestic electric tumble drier (Model TD57) was made by Parnall-Radiation Limited as a complementary appliance to the Parnall Electric Washing Machine. The clothes are dried by heated air that is blown through the perforations in the steel drum as it rotates. The dials at the top of the machine are a temperature control and a timer switch. Made by Parnall (Yate) Ltd, 255 North Circular Road, London NW10. Three-quarter view with door open.
