Description

This is the later version of this popular machine designed on ideas developed by James Gibbs (1829-1902) in 1855, which employed a rotating hook (Patented by Gibbs in 1857), four-feed motion and stitch-length indicator. Brown and Sharpe had the contract to make all the sewing machines for Willcox and Gibbs from 1857-1948.
