Description

A Brooke Bond delivery van shown with a set of harneses. The tea company Brooke Bond was founded in 1869 by Arthur Brooke. Rather than sell loose tea from chests, Arthur Brooke developed his own blends by mixing various teas to give a more consistent taste. This van was typical of those used to deliver tea to retailers between 1900 and 1950.
