Scale model. This model of the Rusian Zim limousine was acquired by a delegation of 16 British members of parliament to the Soviet Union in October 1954. The delegation visited various factories and construction sites, and it is likely this included the GAZ (Gorkovsky Automobilny Zavod) car factory in Gorki. The model of the Zim was accepted as a gift. It is believed to have been the only model of a Rusian-made car existing in this country at the time. The Zim was one of the first Soviet-built limousines, and the name is an abbreviation of Zavod Imeni Molotova (Plant named in Molotov's honor).
