De Havilland DH 104 'Devon', 1949.

The Devon was first built at Hatfield in Hertfordshire in February, 1949. It was a twin-engined short to medium-haul airliner designed to carry eight pasengers. This example served at Rae Farnborough, others were used for communications duties. The civilian Dove was an executive transport. The aeroplane is pictured at the Science Museum's Wroughton airfield in Wiltshire.
