Model (scale 1:24) of British WWII plane. First flown in 1940, nearly 8000 Mosquito bombers were built. Made almost entirely of wood and powered by two of the famous Rolls Royce Merlin engines it cruised at over 300 mph with a range of 3500 miles. It was used for low-level strike misions throughout World War II. Some served as night fighters and photo reconnaisance aircraft.
