Description

This type of photocell operate acording to the photovoltaic effect. It is a metal disc coated with selenium on which is placed a layer of gold or platinum thin enough to transmit light. When light falls on the disc a small current is generated, indicating the intensity of light that is falling on the cell. They are commonly used in camera exposure meters. Made by Megatron.
