Poster produced for the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote the company's services to industries based long the North East Coast of England. The poster is illustrated with an image of a factory engulfed in clouds of smoke. Artwork by Frank Brangwyn (1867-1956), who worked with William Morris in the 1880s and was a painter, designer and craftsman. He was a master-etcher, lithographer and painter of architectural, industrial and figure scenes in oil and watercolour. He painted several murals, illustrated books and designed stained glas for St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 1270 mm.
