Poster produced for Southern Railway (SR) to promote the company's new railway carriages, which they claimed were the 'most luxurious railway carriages yet designed for ordinary fares'. Artwork by Charles 'Shep' Shepherd, who studied art under Paul Woodroffe and was head of the studio at the Baynard Pres. He designed posters for the Royal Mail Packet Steam Company and London Transport as well as SR.
