Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail and sea travel to the German port city of Hamburg, showing a fashionably dresed man and woman looking acros the water towards boats and town buildings. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He designed posters for the LNER, GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 635 mm.
