Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote the transport of pasengers' cars by rail, at a reduced rate of 3d per mile, showing a red open-top car being driven into a train carriage. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He designed posters for the LNER, GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways.
