Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail and sea services to Belgium, via the ports of Harwich and Zeebrugge. The service operated nightly during the summer. The poster shows holidaymakers on the beach at Zeebrugge. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He also designed posters for the GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 1270 mm.
