East London artists invaded the West-end, bringing with them a 100 paintings for show at the Lefevre Galleries, London,S.W. This group of artists are of humble origin, and meet three times weekly at Bow, E., under the leadership of Mr John Cooper. Paintings are being exhibited by Mr Cooper himself, Mr Elwin Hawthorne, Miss Phyllis Bray, Miss Brynhild Park, and others."
