Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to Lincoln, Lincolnshire. The poster shows a view of The Stonebow, which was built in the early 16th century and replaced the main Roman gate into the Lower City, which probably lay just north of the present building. The present structure was heavily restored in the late 19th century. Artwork by Gordon Mitchell Forsyth. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 1270 mm.
