Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to the coastal resort of Felixstowe in Suffolk. The poster shows a view of the Felix Hotel, which was owned and managed by LNER. The text promotes the hotel as facing the sea and having 28 tennis courts in adjoining grounds. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He designed posters for the LNER (London & North Eastern Railway), GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 1270 mm.
