Poster produced for London Underground to promote underground rail travel to Wimbledon. The poster shows a traditional allegory of spring, represented by the mythological figures of Flora (goddess of spring and fecundity) and Cupid, who are seen running through the woods, scattering petals onto the ground. Artwork by Philip Connard, a painter, illustrator and textile designer. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 1270 mm.
