'I'm Taking an Early Holiday Cos I Know Summer Comes Soonest in the South'. Poster produced for the Southern Railway (SR) promoting train services to the South. The poster shows a smiling little boy in a brown coat holding a suitcase standing toward the end of a platform talking to a driver in his green cab. Tracks leading out of the station are visible in the distance. The poster is one of many reproduced from a photograph taken in 1924 by commercial photographer Charles E Brown at Waterloo Station. The photograph was reprinted numerous times in many different guises. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 635 mm.
