Poster produced by London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to commemorate the 'Coronation' locomotive built by Timothy Hackworth in honour of the coronation of King William IV in 1831. It was the forerunner of the 1937 Coronation streamline train operating between King's Cros Station, London and Edinburgh. Artwork by Doris Zinkeisen (1898-1991) who was born in Scotland and studied at the Royal Academy Schools. She lived in London and worked for the stage, designing sets and costumes.
