Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote monthly return tickets to the holiday destinations of Britain's East Coast, showing the comedienne and singer Gracie Fields (1898-1979) with two toddlers at the beach. Fields was born in Lancashire and progresed, via revues and pantomime, to become one of the country's most popular music-hall performers, affectionately known as 'Our Gracie'.
