Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote the company's four different routes to the Continent, from Harwich, Essex to Flushing, the Hook of Holland, Antwerp and Esbjerg. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He designed posters for the LNER (London & North Eastern Railway), GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways.
