Victory Arch, Waterloo Station, London, 21 March 1922. Policemen, staff and photographers gather outside the Victory Arch for the arrival of Queen Mary outside the entrance to the rebuilt London & South Western Railway's Waterloo Station. A silken cord has been stretched across the entrance for the Queen to cut. Workers watch from the rooftops. The station clock shows that the photograph was taken just after 3.05 pm.
