Description

"Entrance to the first and third class refreshment rooms. At this time first, second and third class passengers had different facilities in stations. First class waiting and refreshment rooms were more comfortable and more elaborately decorated than third class facilities. In fact, in the early days of railway catering, third class passengers did not have their own refreshment room."
