"Accident at Heaton Norris, 27 November 1928. The side of the building has been damaged, possibly by a train crashing into it. Accidents could be caused for a number of reasons, for example by locomotives having inadequate brakes. They could also have natural causes such as avalanches, thick snow or flooding, causing derailments. "
