"London, Midland & Scottish Railway poster. Passengers could take a train to either Holyhead or Fleetwood, and then a boat to Dublin or Belfast. The LMS also provided hotels for visitors, giving them a complete package holiday. The railway companies owned ships at this time to transport both passengers and freight abroad."
