"Railway worker tying up wagons in a shed at Liverpool docks, 16 April 1926. This shed, owned by the London, Midland & Scottish Railway, is where wagons were stored when they were not in use. The amount of cargo passing through Liverpool docks was growing rapidly at the start of the 20th century. They dealt with a large number of loaded wagons coming to the docks every day."
