Description

"Poster advertising London, Midland & Scottish season tickets which were valid for a week, although tickets valid for longer periods were also available. The coming of the railways meant that people could live further from their place of work because they could travel more easily. Many of these passengers used season tickets, tickets valid for a certain journey over a fixed period of time."
