Description

The Jules Rimet trophy was stolen on 20 March 1966 from an exhibition display in Central Hall in Westminster, London. It was found on 27 March, wrapped in newspaper, by a dog called Pickles. The 1966 World Cup football championship was won by England who beat Germany 4-2 in the final.
