Description

A bald man sits in front of a mirror with a tin of hair restorer and instructions which say 'one dressing will do'. One of a pair (see CIN/C000039 - 10296690) of hand-coloured magic lantern slides, the other showing the 'after' scene where his is covered in hair. This slipping slide consists of a glass slide which is moved across another, fixed slide, which is painted with two phases of a simple movement. Black patches on the slipping slide alternately cover and uncover the two phases of movement.
